The Rikon 30-251 34” Radial Floor Drill Press is indeed a versatile product. I have had this drill press for about six months and I am completely satisfied wit the performance of this product. You can clamp a piece of wood to the table, and by adjusting the radial arm distance and the swing of the table; you can avoid having to re-clamp the piece for holes anywhere near the first.
The Radial Drill Press is constructed with a rack amp pinion for positioning the horizontal arm allowing the machine to handle every operation of a regular drill press plus much more.
