The Grizzly G7942 5 Speed Baby Drill Press is adequate for those tasks in which a hand drill does not give sufficient positional control. This drill press is designed to withstand the most demanding jobs and offers the performance and power that pros expect without the hefty price tag that they don’t need. It is indeed an ideal tool for any workshop. Though this drill press has its limitations regarding heavy duty jobs but is a handy product with comfort and maneuverabilityOnce assembled, the drill so far seems to operate smoothly. Changing speeds is very easy and ranges from 620 rpm to 3100 rpm. I have owned this tool since long and use it almost regularly for my workshop. It is a great drill press considering its utilization and low price. To date I haven't had any problems with the motor, or any other part of this machine for that matter.
