The new Delta 17-959L 17-Inch Laser Crosshair Drill Press - 16 Speed is another excellent product from the line of Delta drill presses. This DELTA drill press brings new features and a new industrial design to the DELTA drill press family, which has lead the industry for generations. I purchased this drill press about 4 months back and to tell you by far it’s been a great pleasure using this press drill.
The assembly of the machine was relatively easy; although part of the table support appeared to be installed backwards within the packaging (it was easy to reverse the piece). Once assembled the machine feel very sturdy and well built. This drill press is equipped with an industry leading 18" x 14" tilting table for woodworking applications. The table tilts 0-90 degrees to the left or right, and 0-45 degrees forward with positive stops at 0, 45 and 90 degrees.
