The Cummins Industrial Tools 5 Speed - Bench Top Drill Press is an ideal addition to any workshop. The Drill press is just great for what I needed it for. The price for the product was great also. I have owned this tool since long and use it almost regularly for my workshop. It is a great drill press considering its utilization and low price.
To date I haven't had any problems with the motor, or any other part of this machine for that matter. For mortising, it is good to have a long quill travel and a positive quill stop for reproducibility and Drilling depth is adjustable with positive quill stop. This unit also has a 5 Quick change speed settings along with the adjustable table which tilts left or right for angled drilling operations, Distance from center of chuck to the support pole is 4", Table size 6 3/8" x 6 3/8", 3 prong plug, UL listed. |
